Hairbrush guide: how to choose yours
Types of hairbrushes:
Flat brush
he paddle brush is a flat, rectangular brush with bristles on one side only. It is suitable for straight hair, which generally tangles more and needs a brush that wont break the strands.
The bristles usually have little plastic balls on the ends which help to avoid damaging the scalp and massage it, stimulating circulation in the area.
The brush also helps to distribute the natural oils throughout the hair, giving it shine.
Detangling brush

Cushion brushes
Also very common, brushes with a rounded base and cushioned bottom are ideal for combing dry hair because they guarantee shine and softness. They can be used on both straight and wavy hair.
Wide-toothed combs
Wide-toothed wooden combs are best for styling curly and frizzy hair, which should only be combed when wet so as not to deform the curls, avoid frizz and excess volume.

Mixed bristles
Combines the benefits of the other two types of bristle and is therefore very democratic. It works for detangling, but can also be used with heat sources. They are great for thick hair and for straightening wavy, curly and frizzy.

Hollow or vented brushes are great for detangling wet hair, as they dont accumulate water and speed up drying time, while cushioned brushes are ideal for combing dry hair. The size of the brush should also be taken into account. The longer the hair, the larger the diameter of the accessory should be
